OBN Horn Of Africa is second channel of Oromia Broadcasting Network (OBN), a regional broadcaster headquartered in Adama.[1]

History

it was launced targeting strengthening unity and fraternity among people in the east African region, according to Adisu Arega, head of social cluster with the rank of Deputy Chief Administrator of Oromia. aimng to enable the Oromo people and the regional state to fulfil their responsibilities in the ongoing efforts to realize regional integration in the horn of Africa. The channel will broadcast news, programs and various entertainment shows in Afan Oromo, English, Arbic, Somali, Tigrigna, Swahili, Afarigna, Amharic, Sidamigna and other languages.[1]
