  • "Intelligent Systems was founded by Toru Narihiro on his own after he was hired as an employee by Nintendo to port games on the Famicom Disk System to cartridges. " --> Several things here - first, the source spells his name as Toro. Second, I'm not sure how well "on his own" represents things, as the source says he founded it with the group Nintendo set him up with, and Intelligent and Nintendo seem to be rather related-party based on the source. Although this could just be an error in my comprehension.
  • "which critics believed made combat unnecessary" --> I read this entire source four times and didn't find where this was. Can you directly quote what part of the source supports this? Also, this statement needs attribution, as this is just a single critics, not many critics.
  • Cited some more sources
  • "Despite the return of some iconic characters from the series" --> Maybe I'm just being a crank, but the cited source is about the trailer, not the game itself. Recommend getting a source actually about the game - I've seen my fair share of misleading trailers before.
  • The two sources that follow talk about characters, this time when the game came out.
  • "Paper Mario can also make multiple copies of himself, performing a high-damage attack as a large stack" --> No issues
  • Metcritic rating of 76/100 for Color Splash --> checks out
  • "In its first week of release in Japan, 144,000 copies were sold, a similar total to previous Paper Mario games. It ranked as the best-selling game of the week" --> No issues
  • "Sticker Star was overall disdained by fans for the loss of a strategic combat system" --> Checks out
  • "Cards can be collected in the overworld or purchased in shops" --> Read through it twice. To me, I'm not sure that "collected in the overworld" is really supported by the source, which talks about collecting stars in courses accessed from the overworld, and something you access from the overworld isn't necessarily in the overworld, right? Or does the gameplay work to where the courses are in the overworld? Also didn't see the reference to purchasing, which part of the source is it in?
Looks like I only cited one of two sources I planned on citing. Mistake, got the second source in there, fixed.
The courses are pretty much connected, but there's a map that Mario follows along to get to them. So, more or less, yeah. The cards can be found in the levels.
  • "Additionally, he is given a bag of confetti, which is used to fill in empty holes of the overworld" --> No issues

Staring with this amount, will see the replies before determining if more checks are needed. Hog Farm Talk 05:55, 24 April 2021 (UTC)

That's so weird. This seems to be the only source that refers to him as Toro; doing some searches, his first name is also referred to as Toru and even Tohru. What should I use? Panini!🥪 14:03, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
(Oh, @Hog Farm:). Panini!🥪 12:02, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
@Panini!: - For that, I recommend using the most common spelling and then footnoting that it is spelled different ways in different sources. Hog Farm Talk 15:54, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
