I have extensive background in religious studies, including a comprehensive undergraduate program (BA), a master's degree (MDiv), and a terminal research degree (PhD). The focus of my training has been in Christian theology and biblical studies, and thus the majority of my Wikipedia activity is concentrated in these areas.
The username "HermeneuticsHero" is inspired by my passion for the the field of hermeneutics. "Hero" was tacked on simply because it creates a cute alliteration, not because I view myself as particularly competent or admirable :-).
