My name is Helena Kaminski. I am a photography student at College of DuPage, you can visit my webpage at http://www.helenakaminski.com/. I currently work at www.StadiumsUSA.com, a Lombard, Illinois based website that plans on launching in early Fall this year (2010). I am not particularly enthusiastic about sports, but as part of my job I collect photos of stadiums from the Commons. Because I noticed so many discrepancies in pages and disorganization of files, especially pertaining to smaller sports venues, I registered and am currently editing pages as I go along in my work. I mostly just organize.
My photography is traditional in nature, I use analogue processes almost exclusively. I love alternative processes, especially salt printing, platinum printing, and the wet-plate collodion process. This summer I am going to teach myself to work with gum bichromate. As you can see, these really have no relevancy to my current position at StadiumsUSA.com.
