Kilnwood Vale is a housing estate between Crawley and Horsham in the English county of West Sussex. Its first houses were completed in 2013. The development has been supported jointly by Crawley Borough Council and Horsham District Council, and several private construction companies are involved.

The site lies in Horsham district but adjoins the urban area of Crawley: it is immediately west of the Bewbush neighbourhood. To the west is the village of Faygate. The land consists of fields, woods and a former landfill site north of the A264 road. A main railway line crosses the site, and a new railway station is proposed to serve the estate.

History edit

The first houses were completed in early 2014 and residents moved in during January of that year.[1]

The Government paid £2.4 million towards the development by means of the Homes and Communities Agency's "Get Britain Building" scheme.[1] It was one of 14 developments shortlisted by the agency to share £474 million raised through loans and equity investments.[2]
