I am a father of 3 boys based in Gloucestershire, UK. My interest is in zoos and wildlife parks and in particular, enclosure design. I want to contribute to Wikipedia by ensuring that articles about zoos are not just written by the zoo, as appears the case predominantly at the moment, but from a neutral viewpoint to inform accurately. There seems to be a real need in this area to develop standard article formats for these attractions to provide well written, informative articles for interested readers. I also try to add further content to neglected articles about notable tourist attractions that feature animals to add to the overall knowledge base of Wikipedia. I am particularly keen to collaborate with other contributors who are interested in the same area to gain different perspectives and improve these articles for everyone.
