Arizona Diamondbacks (2013–2022) edit
On July 2, 2013, the Arizona Diamondbacks of MLB purchased Peralta's contract from Amarillo and added him to their farm system.[1]

Tampa Bay Rays (2022) edit
On July 30, 2022, the Diamondbacks traded Peralta to the Tampa Bay Rays in exchange for catcher prospect Christian Cerda.[2] The Rays had lost several everyday players to injuries and looked to Peralta to provide a veteran bat to the lineup.[3] On October 1, Peralta recorded his 1,000th career MLB hit with a single against Houston Astros pitcher Cristian Javier.[4]
Los Angeles Dodgers (2023–present) edit
Following the 2022 season, Peralta underwent back surgery to repair a spinal disc herniation, which delayed his free agency process.[5] He ultimately signed a one-year, $6.5 million contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers on February 16, 2023.[6]
International career edit
Peralta represented Team Venezuela at the 2023 World Baseball Classic, joining Anthony Santander and Ronald Acuña Jr. in the outfield.[7] He went 5-for-14 with two doubles in five tournament games,[8] including the go-ahead single in Venezuela's upset over Team Dominican Republic.[9] Peralta and Venezuela were ultimately eliminated by Team USA in a 9–7 quarterfinal loss.[10]
