I am a music listener and collector from the United Kingdom, whose interests are mainly in 1980s and 1990s pop, rock, R&B and dance. I have a large collection of records and CDs (along with some cassettes), which I have been collecting since the age of 8 – although my music interests go back even further than that. Such is my passion for collecting physical formats of music, I often return home from trips – both in the UK and abroad – with more new and secondhand records and CDs in my suitcase than clothes or other personal items.
My Wikipedia history edit
|
I joined Wikipedia in January 2006, and since then I have tended to focus on editing album articles, where I might add new information and do some tidying or formatting to bring the article up to a better standard. These are very often albums that I own physical copies of. I have created many new music-related Wikipedia articles, including more than 90 albums, but also film and TV articles, along with a handful of other random subjects. All of this is done with a little help from fellow Wikipedia users of course.
My Wikipedia works edit
Below is a list of articles that I have created. Some of them I started with just a few words and fellow users have added the majority of the information, whereas others I have not only started but also worked on extensively. Then underneath that I have also listed some of the articles I didn't create but have spent rather a lot of time working on. And right at the bottom of this page are just some useless facts about me.
