Early Childhood Education (U.S.)

Education in the United States is introducing computers to the youth in preschool and kindergarten through the use of tablet computers. Tablet computers are more suitable for child use due to the small size and touchscreen accessibly.[1] The simple tap and swipe features of tablet computers are convenient for the under-developed motor skills of young children and similarly present the functions of the mouse and keyboard.[2] Early childhood educators use student-centered instruction to guide the young student through various activities on the tablet computer.[3] Often this includes web browsing and the use of applications, familiarizing the young student with a basic level of computer proficiency.[2]

I made a few small punctuation/grammar/capitalization changesCathygaborusf (talk) 01:42, 28 November 2016 (UTC)Cathygaborusf

As promised, I am looking over your sandbox again. I see the chart, which is great, and this paragraph about Early Childhood Ed. from Nov 19. Do you plan to add any more info? What do you define as "early childhood"? Usually that refers to pre-school. If that is what you mean, maybe you should include that. Or, if you mean to refer to elementary education (grades K-5), then maybe you should include that in your definition.Cathygaborusf (talk) 04:20, 29 November 2016 (UTC)Cathygaborusf
