Gautam Talukdar hails from Guwahati, Assam and pursued a Honours undergradute degree in English Literarture under the University of Delhi, New Delhi and his law degree from University of Pune, Pune. Mr. Talukdar is practicing lawyer in New Delhi, India.

Gautam Talukdar started his legal professional career in 2007 in the Chambers of Ms. Pinky Anand, Senior Advocate and currently Additional Solicitor General of India of India. Thereafter, he joined the office of Suri & Co., a reputed law firm owned by Mr. Rupinder Singh Suri, former President of the Supreme Court Bar Association and Senior Advocate. Then as a part of Rajinder Narain & Co.’s corporate and commercial team, he became instrumental in advising numerous multi national clients of the Firm.

In order to hone his skills in litigation, he joined the Chambers of Jayant Bhushan, Senior Advocate of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and assisted him for several years in matters before the Hon’ble High Court and Supreme Court of India. Thereafter, Mr. Talukdar joined the Chambers of Gaurav Bhatia, Additional Advocate General for State of Uttar Pradesh and Secretary, Supreme Court Bar Association.

In the year 2014, he became Advocate on Record in the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and since then he handled several prestigious matters relating to several important issues.

Mr. Talukdar regularly appears for a leading broadcaster before Telecom Disputes and Settlement Appellate Tribunal in regulatory matters and has experience in handling matters before other regulatory bodies. Mr. Talukdar is enrolled with Delhi Bar Council since 2007 and a member of Supreme Court Advocate-on Records Association, Supreme Court Bar Association and Delhi High Court Bar Association.

Mr Talukdar adopts photography as a hobby and an avid traveler. Mr. Talukdar traveled extensively within India and also visited Russia, Germany, Italy and Vatican City, Austria, Switzerland, France, Thailand, Croatia, Netherlands, Czech Republic and Norway.
