Residence edit
I was born in Coventry and moved as a child to Portsmouth and Ottery St Mary attending one, or more schools, in all three. After leaving home I lived in various areas of London, (including Streatham, Brixton, Norwood Junction), & outskirts, Portslade, Worthing, Weymouth, Yeovil, Nailsea and now Bridgend.
Education edit
After school I achieved Standard & Higher TEC, (now called BTEC), certificates in Electronics on day release at South London Collage, (Knights Hill), and a BA (Open) through the Open University home study.
Employment edit
In the past I have been in the REME, worked as a Technician/Electronics Engineer for the Metropolitan Police O(T)SG & Fisher Controls/Monsanto in Lewisham, as a Software Engineer and Instructor on Flight Simulator Visual Systems for Singer Link-Miles/Thompson Training & Simulation Lancing, in various contract positions as a Software Engineer and Software Tester mostly specialising in Avionics, Sonar, Embedded Software, Real-Time & Safety Critical Software.
I currently work for Baker Hughes as a Software Engineer as a specialist in Embedded Software and Sub-Sea Systems & Software Tools.

In addition to spending far too much time on computers outside of work hours I am a keen amateur photographer & prolific reader.
