I created this account, because I passionately believe in the concept of a free encyclopedia, yet have never felt the need for recognition or a catalogue of my entries. I believe Wikipedia to be a beautiful thing- free access to theoretically all of human knowledge has allowed me to learn about things I'd never have heard of otherwise without even leaving my house, and to similarly give back to the community with my own contributions in areas I already know a bit about.
However, my fairly dynamic I.P. address has recently numerous times carried the baggage of someone else's less than helpful edits, and has caused my contribution to discourse in Wikipedia to be taken less than seriously...
So today begins my journey into an accountable Wikipedia life!
