Eve Smith holds a Collaborative Doctoral Award with Royal Holloway, University of London and the Victoria and Albert Museum Based in North London, Eve has just entered her second year as a PhD candidate supervised by Dr Kate Dorney and Professor Gilli Bush-Bailey.

Research Interests edit

She is currently researching private theatre collections, in particular the Gabrielle Enthoven Collection at the V&A and the Roy Waters Theatre Collection at Royal Holloway. Gabrielle Enthoven's vast collection formed the foundation of the V&A's theatre archives after being presented to the museum in 1924. Roy Waters devoted a lifetime to collecting theatrical ephemera, including playbills, posters and programmes, with a particular emphasis on ephemera relating to Oscar Wilde.
