I have been a member of Wikipedia now for about 5 years and have made about 600 edits over that time. I have had fun being a member here and made a few wiki-friends, hence why I am re-creating this page.
I logged on about a week ago to find that I had been suspended for a week for "sock puppet" creation. Naturally, I contested this, being that all of my edits whether constructive or not so constructive have been done under my own name. Feel free to check out my editing history for proof of this. My response was basically "our software is correct, and of course you're going to say it wasn't you", and that was it.
The block has since ended and I am free to edit again, but that is not the point. The point is I was accused of being a sock puppet in the first place and given no recourse.
So, I've decided that I am leaving Wikipedia. It has became clear to me that anyone with the resources can block anyone at any time and trying to get into a discussion about it is futile.
I have requested that my account be deleted, but apparently "you can't do that". So, i'm going to leave these final few words, and log off, and that's it. My discussion page has already been cleared, so basically, thanks to all those that have discussed things with me over the years, for those that have assisted, or those have corrected and good faith edits that I have made. Sorry it end to this way.

Surprised I remembered my password.
I did a Google search and ended up on here again. Saw the begging yellow notice for donations.
Say it was back in 2009, the way I felt about Wikipedia, I would have donated happily.
Since then, however, I've been accused of being a fraudulent liar. (See previous edits).
So, no, no donations from me until an apology.
