Hi, Reader :)! My name is Emanuil Tolev and I come from Bulgaria. I hope I will soon become an experienced Wikipedia editor and I will contribute constructively to this project! I am interested in human rights issues, like the heavy persecution of the peaceful practice of Falun Gong in the PRC (Mainland China).
The main principles of this system for improving the mind and the body are Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance, by which I adhere too :). You can have a look at the Falun Gong official website, maintained by practitioners: [1] .
The Chinese Communist Party however, does not need any good or healthy people if they are not communists. Due to its materialistic and atheistic nature, the China's Communist Party has destroyed most of traditional Chinese culture (which was spread in society before it came, that is). Thus, former Chinese president, Jiang Zemin, was furious when the number of followers of the Falun Dafa practice exceeded 70 million, while the CCP had only 60 million members. If so many people didn't make communism their first and foremost priority, but instead supported traditional culture and improvement of morals, his Communist Party would collapse very quickly - because these are the things it has always been trying to destroy!
So, on the 22th of July, 1999, former Chinese president Jiang Zemin launched a campaign against this most peaceful and quiet practice, Falun Gong. Since then, millions of people have been brutally persecuted, put into jails and concentration camps (in the 21. century!), sent to psychiatric hospitals without any reason and have even had their organs extracted while they are still alive! This may sound rather unbelievable, but it has been proved by third parties, most notably by two very experienced and well-known Canadian lawyers - [2].
It is noteworthy that practitioners of this system don't engage themselves in politics (like being directly or indirectly against the Chinese Government) and just always put the principles Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance before everything else, supporting traditional moral values. If there's something they're against, that's the terrifying deeds of the Communist Party.
This horrible persecution is happening right now, while you are reading this text. Please, help us stop the nightmare in China!
