Edvard W. Dawkins (b.1953 Toronto, Canada). So I’m sitting here with a Leonard Cohen record playing at my feet, holding a cheap cigar and a cold cup of coffee. I’m trying to contextualize who I am. I’ve earned a modest living in the commodities market, but I live for books and art. I’ve written a few published articles in small journals many years ago. Now that I’m retired (goodbye Don Valley Pkwy/404) and I’ve recommitted myself to writing.
I did some music reviews years ago, i.e., Bruce Cockburn, The Band, etc. I’m pulling together material on religious lowbrow artists of North America for wikipedia. I have an amateur understanding of biblical literary criticism and hope to eventually write theology.
