RD Vincent is an American Folktale writer who was born in the Hudson Valley of New York on a small Dairy farm. During his childhood, Vincent was told stories by his Grandmother while she cooked and baked. Overtime, it was discovered that the tales Vincent heard from his grandmother were actually 300 year old American Fables which survived his family 6 generations by word of mouth.

As Vincent grew up he found a passion for writing and decided to pursue poetry and journalism during his time at SUNY Potsdam. While there, he had the honor of studying with Maurice Kenny, a famed poet who was an adjunct at SUNY Potsdam. Further writing influences inspired Vincent and soon he outlined his Folktale Series Donbridge which took him 18 years to finally put together.

On July 15, 2015 RD Vincent published his first work Donbridge: The Ring Of Lazarus. Following this tale, he completed The Legend of Tamarack Hill, The Miracles of Midwife Sutton, The Hermit of Mapes Ravine, The Lost Princess of Lenape Valley and The Four Talisman. The entire six book series completed October 2017.

The series has been recognized by the Pulpwood Queen International bookclub of 600 chapters, publishers weekly, IN Magazine and various other periodicals.

Presently, RD Vincent is a columnist for 5 newspapers in both the United States and Austalia. His column is called Something to Cook About and features a fable along with a recipe. This column is presently being written into a new book series called Donbridge: American Fables which is due out in the summer of 2018
