Magic Training, also referred to as MT, is a light-weight wizarding combat simulator on the Roblox platform, with over 60 castable spells and a large map to play around in. It was created in 2016 by the user serphos, and has undergone many updates. Notable figures include OceanArcher, Serphos, Alyphos, Rarcival, Scarital, and others. Because of the popularity of the game, especially during the Coronavirus Pandemic , many groups arose within the specific genre of the game. During the extensive history of the game, many of these groups engaged in long and even violent conflicts, some even resulting in group bans from the game itself. Because of the wars and skirmishes, political antics, and the appeal of a community, the groups created an immense advertising profit for the game, making it even more popular. The most recent, notable, and influential groups include the Aurors of the Ministry of Magic, the Ministry of the Death Eaters (M.O.D.E), The Order of the Phoenix, (OOTP), the ironically names Order of the PeaceKeepers (OOPK), House Tilvanus, The Vulchanov and LeStrange Families, the Federation of Wizards (FoW), and others. The groups created extensive lore for themselves and the wars and diplomacy they inflicted on each other defined the game itself.
