I grew up in a small (~1000 people) seaside town in Newfoundland, Canada. I completed a Bachelor of Engineering (major in Computer Engineering) and a Doctor of Medicine at Memorial University of Newfoundland. I am presently a cardiac surgery resident at the University of Toronto.
