User:Dispenser/Tools subscription

Subscription

Due to on going development cost, increased bandwidth consumption, lack of support from the Wikimedia Foundation, and negligible donations, I am forced to move to a subscription model. The tools will be in a free trial mode until the end of April first.

With this model I'll be able to dedicate more time to your needs and purchase hardware the foundation has declared pointless. Here are the features I'm most looking forward to bring:

Dab solver

  • Expand the DPL contest to other languages.
  • Advanced graph database - A memory expensive technique will extend the already useful one degree of separation to ten
  • Cross lingual suggestions - Links are already solved in another language
  • Client managed queuing system
  • Select pages by ease of disambiguation
  • Faster loading
  • Improved documentation
  • Cool black theme

WikiProjects

  • Fast project watchlists with automatic edit analysis
  • Membership manager - See who's engaging and who's adding content
  • Newbie on boarding - Streamline event sign ups without missing email addresses
  • Content Report Card
    • Smart Spell Checker - A context sensitive spell checker so homonyms and wrong words are marked
    • Image analysis - List article missing images, images unfit for print and more
    • View metrics - Beyond simple view totals and find out which popular websites are linking
    • Readability - Automatic grading of the reading level of content
    • Colorblind Report - Find out which charts and photos cause trouble for the 1 out of every 12 color-blind men and what's unprintable or washes out on projectors

Citation manager

A system which encompasses the entire citation cycle from discovery to vandalism protection using machine learning. Similar to a machine translation associating sich ins eigene Fleisch schneiden to shoot oneself in the foot this associates a fact from Wikipedia to the fact in the citation.

Exclusive gadgets

  • Find archived talk section
  • History+ - Interactive history time strip, quick and powerful revision search, auto hide vandalism, and 90% faster diff loads
