My name is Jacques de Selliers.

I have a master in Engineering from the Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL).

I have founded GreenFacts [1] in 2001, a non-profit organization publishing faithful summaries of authoritative scientific consensus reports on environment and health topics produced by international organization (such as WHO, IPCC, FAO, Millennium Assessment, IARC, European Commission...). I have managed the organization up to May 2007. Then I got on the Board of GreenFacts as Vice-Chairman until 2009.

In 2008, I became involved with the promotion of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and founded Going-Electric, the European Association for Battery Electric Vehicles. Then mid-2008, I became a partner with Green Mobil, a start-up that imported and sold electric cars in the Benelux until Sept 2009.

I was also a member of the Board of the EU Chapter of the Club of Rome [2], and am the founder and curator of the Clockarium Museum in Brussels, devoted to ceramic mantelclocks of the first half of the 20th century.
