Profile edit
Through a cooperation network of partner universities and other institutions in the Euro-Med region, the Euro-Mediterranean University (EMUNI) provides study, research and training programmes, and thus advances the establishment of the Euro-Mediterranean Higher Education, Science and Research Area. Acting as a coordinator and facilitator of joint academic and research activities, EMUNI is becoming a focal point for exchange of staff and students of partner institutions.
The activities of EMUNI include MA and PhD programmes, seminars, conferences, summer schools, professional courses and other activities. In the end of 2008, the International Journal of Euro-Mediterranean Studies (IJEMS) started to be issued.
The activities of EMUNI focus on the Priority Areas of the Union for the Mediterranean as well as Maritime Issues, Culture and Tourism, Human Rights and Migration, Euro-Mediterranean Studies, Gender Issues, Development Studies, Water Management, Performing Arts and Regional Integrations.
EMUNI cooperates with different international organisations, e. g.: Anna Lindh Euro-Mediterranean Foundation, European Training Foundation and United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UN AoC).
