Alfa Romeo GTV and Spider#Future edit
Following the merger of FCA into Stellantis, Alfa Romeo CEO Jean-Philippe Imparato proposed the possibility of a new GTV model with an electric power plant.[3][4]
Hyundai Pony#Background edit
When Hyundai wanted to develop their own car, they hired George Turnbull, the former managing director of Austin Morris at British Leyland in 1974.[5] He in turn hired five other top British car engineers, Kenneth Barnett as body designer, engineers John Simpson and Edward Chapman, John Crosthwaite as chassis engineer and Peter Slater as chief development engineer.[6][7] With Turnbull's experience with the Morris Marina, [8] engines and transmissions from Mitsubishi, some parts from the Ford Cortina they were already producing, and a hatchback body styled by Italdesign Giugiaro, they developed the Hyundai Pony.
Lancia Ypsilon#Fourth generation (2024) edit
The fourth generation Ypsilon is to be based on either the PSA EMP1 platform or STLA Small electric platform, and is tentatively scheduled for a 2024 release.[9][10][11]
Maserati GranTurismo edit
In mid-2021, it was confirmed that a new GranTurismo prototype using styling cues from the Maserati Alfieri concept was being test-driven, with options for an electric drivetrain as well as V6 and V8 engines.[12][13][14]
