Darshana has faith in Righteousness and fairness and , is a daring rebel.
His fearless Media attacks on the mafias that manipulate the art or the music of the country,are well known and bears and authoritative power. He believes in the blossomingnew generation and never hesitates to extend a helping hand towards them.

His music callsfor a universal aesthetic sense that surpasses the human feelings. Music is the reverberation of universalfeelings. He combined SriLankan folk music , Hindustani music Western music and many other styles in his compositions andblends them in an unique mode .Hediscovers the mode “ Compact operas” tothe world . Darshana has composed more than 1500 songs ranging from the Veteran of the veterans Dr. Pandit. W.D Amaradeva to new generation .Musical scores that he composedfor the movie “Samanala Sandwaniya “, widened his acclaim as a musician.
He was awarded the rare prospect of conducting workshops at stMargrette School.Australia in 2014 and “the world peacesong” he composed was commended by theuniversity of Monash. Operas, symphonies, Compact operas he has composed standstestimony to his musical maturity.
