I am a Canadian living in Seoul, Korea. I have been living in Korea since January 2004. I lived in Busan for about 2 years of that time.

Though I am hardly an expert on Korea, I do have some firsthand knowledge of living here...

I will do my best to take a neutral point-of-view when contributing but most of my edits will likely be regarding grammar or spelling conventions.

For Korean to English I prefer the newer system for transliterating, but occasionally I revert to the older spelling where it is more popular and/or more comfortable. Also, I do not like hyphenating except where it is confusing.

My Korean is not very good yet... I seem to be a poor student of Korean. I am actually what you would call Level 0. I can read it and understand bits but my comprehension is well below Ko-1.
