The Last Orge is the sequel of the previous year novel called The Last Elf that won lots of prizes.
In the following years,Silvana De Mari wrote other books with the same setting and the same characters:the whole series is called the Series of Last.
The Last Orge won the prizes IBBY International Boud Books Young People in 2006 and the Prix Sorcières "Romanzi per ragazzi" in 2008 in French.
While The Last Elf use a language more Suitable to kids, the Last Orge is longer, it has a style for adult readers.
