Please note I have now moved to SephyTheThird and am in the process of moving everything there. This account is now inactive on mainspace.

After a break of over three and a half years I have returned to editing wikipedia.

Major Contributions prior to May 2010 edit

  • Lupin III - Initially Replaced quite a few references with something more reliable as part of the sweep of removing references using Anime News Network's Encyclopedia and switching them to something else. After that, adding a lot of information and rewriting a lot of what was already there. This prevented the article from losing it's GA status.
  • Love Hina - Completely rewritten, mostly over a period of a year or so, but in total around 18 months. I took a break from it for a while to come back to it fresh and found it only needed a couple of very minor edits. The article was promoted to Good Article status on December 29, 2009. Article has been featured on a rotated basis on the Anime and Manga Portal since January 2010.[1]
  • Excel Saga - Completely rewritten from scratch because trying to improve the shocking state of the article by editing the existing content was too much hassle. It took an afternoon to write from scratch, it would have taken at least a week to do simply working within the original state of the page. I will try to get this promoted to GA status.
  • Urusei Yatsura - Completely rewritten in 9 hours. Sourced the release dates for all 5 or 6 japanese manga editions, removed all Original research/unverified claims. Rewrote plot, cut the undue weight regarding the title meaning and translations, Started a proper reception.

Current work (Jan 2014 onwards) edit

Constantly working on Lupin and Urusei Yatsura, I don't think that will ever stop. Either new information becomes known or found, something benefits from tweaking or the sub pages that have been neglected are still there to be worked on.

Great Teacher Onizuka was my first recent attempt to clean up an article long overdue a cleanup. It's a work in progress as mood dictates. Eventually it'll be up to standard but I'm happy to do it here and there for now. In a similar vein is Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water, I've started cleaning it up but am yet to put any serious effort into it. It's easy enough to add things here and there, I've focused on clearing out the unverified statements.

Barnstars etc edit

The Manga and Anime BarnSakura Award
For your work over the last month in helping Lupin III retain its Good Article status, being patient with my possibly overzealous application of the GA criteria, and getting the article that much closer to a potential second FAC! Great job! -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 00:39, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
