Deborah Shonibare is a teenage, Nigerian-American student who attends a school in Hackney, she is a Sociology student at the Petchey Academy and also has interests outside her academia such as cooking, acting and musical theatre.

Deborah has taken part in several Performing and Volunteering programme.
She is currently taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award and regularly volunteers at her local library
she has performed at theatres such as the Soho theatre and the National theatre as well as being a part of the razzamataz Theatre schools.
