Mozilla Firefox Extension If you don't have Mozilla Firefox, get it. It is by far better than the current Internet Explorer and other browsers, and features a small search bar at the top right in which you can, by adding a special plug-in, search Wikipedia from any other site. Another thing to remember is the awesome 'Wiki Extension Bar in which it has buttons for Wiki syntax and useful tools for all of the wikimedia projects. Get it [here].

Resources Wikipedia is a fun place to work, but one needs to know a lot about wiki-syntax, links and how to format articles to do a good job. Here is a list of general pages I frequent when I need help. The Community Portal, where there's never nothing to do. The Wikipedia Topical Index, the ultimate resource for anything to do with Wikipedia. I use it a lot. Wikipedia: Introduction is a beginner's brief guide to Wikipedia. Help:Contents is your handy help desk. Wikipedia:Tutorial is the best site for a beginner at Wikipedia. How to link to sister projects How to edit mathematical formulae using TeX How to revert a page to an earlier version Some pages with stuff to do: Wikipedia:Requested articles is always full of things to do and add. I often pick one at random and just do it. Some good user pages of noted Wikipedians with lots of resources: Jimbo Wales Angela Some fun WIkipedia stuff The WIkipedia Department of Fun is a thoroughly enjoyable list of Wiki-games and activities. It's also where I found my favorite Wikipedia game, Wikipedia Roulette.
