The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (abbreviated USSR Russian: Сою́з Сове́тских Социалисти́ческих Респу́блик, СССРⓘ); tr.: Soyuz Sovetskikh Sotsialisticheskikh Respublik, SSSR), more commonly known as the Soviet Union, was a constitutionally socialist state that existed in Eurasia from 1922 to 1991. The state coat of arms of the Soviet Union (Russian: Государственный герб СССР) was adopted in 1923 and was used until the break-up of the Soviet Union in 1991. Although it technically is an emblem rather than a coat of arms, since it doesn't follow heraldical rules, in Russian it is called герб (transliteration: gerb), the word used for a traditional coat of arms.

Communist47 is the coolest Russian ever. He is a lover of music, worshipping Pink Floyd, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, The Doors and Deep Purple.
Pink Floyd is the best though. ^_^
