1st draft the first version of a new article or section
+ an addition. + 1 indicates an addition of an entry in a list, +2 = two entries &c.
- a subtraction or removal
&c. et cetera. In an edit summary, this indicates other changes besides the headlined one.
ack. a simple response to acknowledge a message
alt. alternative
amend alter, change, refactor or replace
braces curly brackets
caps capital letter(s)
cat category
citation a reference to a source
clarify to make clearer

endorse to support another statement
expand to develop and make larger. This includes developing a redirect into a stub or full article.
false counterfactual, incorrect or untrue
ft: full text - used in edit summaries to indicate the new text
improper contrary to good practise and procedure
improve to make better
ital italic
k keep - typically found at AFD
links to sources usually a reference to the {{find}} template which displays useful links to books, journals, &c.

oppose to contradict another statement

prod proposed deletion
re about, regarding or related to
rebut counter or disprove another statement
red link a link to an article or category which does not exist and so is displayed in red
redirect to replace with a redirect
restructure rearrange or reorganise
revert to return to a previous version
rewrite to write again as a fresh start
sk speedy keep - typically found at AFD
sort rearrange in order - usually alphabetical
sp. a spelling correction
stale old, inactive or obsolete
sundry edits a number of edits which cannot easily be summarised
tag a template, especially an intrusive banner upon an article
tidy housekeeping such as removing old or stale discussions
trim contract, précis, prune or tighten
tsk an expression of disapproval
tweak a minor edit
typo a typographical mistake or typing error
ugh an expression of distaste
!vote a not-vote - the local way of describing a formal contribution to a poll-like discussion such as WP:AFD.
wipe blank a section which is no longer required such as a notification on my talk page.
