I am originally from Southern California and currently reside in northeast Los Angeles. I studied (cultural) anthroplogy & Classical Studies at Occidental College for my B.A., and graduated in 2006. My scholarly interests include archaeology, (East) Asian Studies, Art History, and literature with a specialty in cultural critique.
Wikipedia hones my research skills (which I keep sharp for graduate school), and I enjoy history and languages in general.
I've been editing and creating entries since roughly 2006, mostly to update the Wikipedia articles on geisha, usually translating the Japanese pages into English.
