I am Clara Westmacott, a budding novelist and speaker from Hampshire, England. I have a passion for reading and am known in my school for the one complete novella and one 'book-in-progress' that I have created, but not yet published. I am looking towards a career in Medicine or Scientific Research alongside authoring books, as Biology and Chemistry interest me greatly. In addition to this, I enjoy music: I achieved Grade 6 on flute and 5 on piano by age 13, and I hope to continue with these instruments long into my life.

In my village, I have contributed to the community in various different ways, for example, suggesting a park for the children on the village green and visiting the Elderly People's Home to entertain and talk to the residents.

Outside of school, I have taken part in a leadership qualification, done community service in India, and done many wildlife preservation sessions with my guides. I am part of a modern church, and regularly serve the church by playing keyboard in the worship band.

I feel that it is important for teenagers and young adults to feel accepeed into society no matter what. As a result of this, I have extremely passionate views on society and the inescapable trap it becomes when the façade of it being a panacea is broken. I also have very strong views on equality, bullying, and politics (for example whether or not Britain should be providing more money for the Refugee Crisis) and love a good debate. I am excited for what the future holds!
