My name is Clara Roper, and I am studying Digital arts in Scarborough, at the University of Hull, Scarborough Campus. I am currently in my third year of University and will be graduating in July.

Reason for joining Wikipedia

Assignment last year

Our assignment was to create or edit a Wikipedia page to do with Machinima. In the class we organized our groups, I worked with User:Sarahmckinley4 and we chose to create a page about Henry Lowood. As it was our first encounter with Wikipedia, we came across quite a few problems with creating a new page. We did as much as we could to create a credible source but i believe, unfortunately it has been deleted.

New assignment

This year in a module called Psychology of Internet Behavior, we have been assigned again, to edit a wiki page about a topic, the topic we (as a group) have chosen to look at is Internet addiction disorder. The members of my group include User:Sarahmckinley4 User:TomLee91 User:Amosjfrancis User:JLM003.

We will be working together on Wikipedia to create a creditable source on our chosen topic. In a group meeting we allocated specific points to explore with in the topic, I have chosen Problematic internet use.

Problematic Internet Use

I will be researching into problematic internet use (PIU) to see what actually falls into this specific topic.

Looking at what other people have said about this issue when involved in Internet Addiction Disorder, as well as the issues and consequences that are involved when encountering PIU.

I would like to add a visual into the page as the article is solely text.
