Ten Articles Campaign

Anyone can edit this page, and you're encouraged to do so, although stuff like this doesn't help much.  Chzz  ►  14:08, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

If you've come here from an edit comment, and wish to thank and/or discuss an authors edits, please leave comments on their talk page. General thanks for the campaign may go at the end of this article.

Concepts edit

Get a cup of tea (or whatever), sit down, jump in to ten articles and improve them. Anything from removing a comma to a rewrite; whatever you can do. You could find articles anywhere - maybe on peer review, new pages or just at random. It shouln't be a big deal, and will only take a couple of hours of your time. Too many folk are getting bogged down in the essential maintenance work - tagging articles for CSD, AfD, etc etc. Sometimes it's good to step back and remember the core of what Wikipedia is all about.

How to join in edit

  • Add your name to the list below; (which will hopefully become a pretty table one day, or a template or something clever like that)
  • Go and edit ten articles. Keep note of the article name, and put [[User:Chzz/10]] at the end of your comprehensive edit summary.
  • Update the list with links to the ten articles after your name.

Reward edit

A lovely warm feeling. (I expect someone might knock up a barnstar or someth?)

Good project, but you'll need to follow through on the things you imply if it does gather momentum. Cheers. ;) — Ched :  ?  18:36, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
