Professional: I am a member of the GLAM community, hold masters degrees in history and library/information science, and currently serve as the director of community relations for OCLC. OCLC is a global member cooperative of library agencies whose mission is to connect people to knowledge through library cooperation. In my role, I lead a team that identifies funding agencies and other partners to support library development programs that empower individuals and build communities globally. I love my job.

Personal: I live in a tiny urban loft with my young family and a cat. I call both Seattle and the hill country of Texas my home, but I aim to be a citizen of the globe. I travel a lot for both work and fun. I love to learn.

Where else: @itgirl is my handle on twitter and elsewhere around the web and I sometimes blog at Libraries Build Communities.

I created this page at a Wikipedia Loves Libraries event at the Seattle Public Library.
