The Songs

edit

Empty Hats has a variety of song content, from humorous to sombre and meaningful. Empty Hat's main lyricists are Carl Asch and Ciara Carinci. Content ranges vastly from the Two Magicians, which is about a smith seeking a woman's affections and they both happen to be magicians, to Fisherman's Wife, which is about a woman who lost her husband at sea. They also play some lively Celtic music. Their music can be bought when they are playing, from one of the band members, or online on their website.
