The IEC 82079 Preparation of instructions for use - Structuring, content and presentation standard, from the International Organization for Standardization, from September 2012, describes the design and preparation of all kinds of User guides.
The standard describes the basics for preparation, structur, content and presentation of User guides. It does not give a guidance for the pagination. The standard is based on IEC SC 3B "Documentation" and ISO TC 10 "Technical drawings product definitions and related documentation".
