Anqing Foreign Language School (Chinese: 安庆市 外国语 学校) Ān-qìng-shì wài-guó-yǔ xué-xiào, or A.F.L.S, is a private three-year junior high school located in Anqing, China [1]. For the 2009–2010 school year, there are over 1,500 students in A.F.L.S.
Subjects edit
Students have 15 subjects at A.F.L.S. Each class lasts 45 minutes. Grade 7 students have 13 subjects in total. Students have six Chinese lessons, six mathematics lessons, and five English lessons every week.
Clubs edit
Students have a science club, a reading club, a dancing club, an English club and a computer club after classes. Students usually spend 30 minutes on after-school activities. The students choose the clubs during the first week of their arrival at school.
English Corner edit
Students think English Corner is a fun activity. English teachers chat with students in English on the playground or in the classroom every Tuesday and Thursday. Students like it, because they can improve their oral English there. Students enjoy English Corner very much.

Halloween edit
Halloween is a very famous festival for Western countries. As a Foreign Language School. We have a big party on October 31st every year. At last year. We had a fun holiday party on the playground. All the Grade 7 students made a lot of pumpkin lanterns and we had any interesting shows. Some primary students came to visit us. We asked them some questions in English and we played some great games. They got some gifts from us if they told us the correct answers. All of us had a good time.
Sports Meeting edit
In autumn we have a sports meeting. We write some articles for sports players, we also read some sports books and watch the math. Some students read, run, and jump. They are very relaxing.
2010 Spring Trip edit
Today is March 16th. We will go to Jiangxi Provine next Saturday. We will go on spring trip. All the students and teachers are very exciting. We want to visit China. We prepare a lot of delicious food for the trip. Such as chicken, potato chips, bread and coke.
Western New Year's edit
New Year's Day is on January the first. And it is a very important festival in China. I always have a very big party. We have hot drinks and some snacks. We sing and dance. There will be fireworks in the sky.
