About Me edit

I am a seeker of truth, knowledge, and peace. I am generally interested in living persons, awards, academy, societies, etc. I work on BLP and awards pages on wikipedia. My BLP notice board tool [[1]] and policy guide [[2]]

Principles edit

Wikipedia is an open Encyclopedia. So it means anyone can edit. But, the prime purpose of editing is to create new articles or improve on existing articles. Improve the content, the sources, etc., and not vandalize or undertake personal attacks (WP:PA WP:HARASS).

Note that mischievous acts can easily be spotted. That include personal attacks. Wikipedia pages are not places for people to vent their anger, conflicts, or displeasure against someone.

Quality vs. Quantity - Myths about Edit Counts

Edit counts do not necessarily reflect the value of a user's contributions to the Wikipedia project. As the saying goes, "Quality, not quantity" — indeed, sometimes high edit counts are indicative of carelessness.Source [[9]]
