The Pabst Brewing Company Former Corporate Office Building is located at 901 W. Juneau Ave. in downtown Milwaukee, WI in the Pabst Brewery Complex. It was originally an public elementary school that sat on the edge of the Pabst Brewing Company property in Milwaukee,WI. It was purchased by Captain Frederick Pabst in XXXX for the sum of $xxxx. Frederick Pabst had alterations made to the building, including xxx. Building additions at the time included xxxxxx. For the Pabst Brewing Company’s centennial celebration, Blue Ribbon Hall was painted by muralist XX Miller. The Visitor’s Center was added to the structure in XXXX and the Gift Shop added in XXXX. In 1996 the Pabst Brewing Company shut down its Milwaukee brewery (citations will include multiple national papers). INSTEAD OF: Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery (Best Place) is located at 901 W. Juneau Ave. in downtown Milwaukee in the Pabst Brewery Complex. It is owned by the Brew City Redevelopment Group. It is home to Little Tavern on the Hill, Blue Ribbon Hall, and the Gift Shop. It occupies the Pabst Brewing Company’s former corporate offices and visitor’s center.[1] Businessman Jim Haertel handles the day-to-day operations of the business and was instrumental in the preservation of the Complex.[2]

Recently Best Place turned down an offer from the Cincinnati Restaurant Group Inc. to operate a Hofbrauhas.[3]

Best Place is available for tours, rentals, fundraisers, and a pint of Pabst Blue Ribbon Thursday-Sunday 12PM-12AM. The Gift Shop offers a variety of new and vintage Pabst, Schlitz, Blatz, and other retro-beer merchandise.
