I'm interested in adding illustrated plant ID information to Wikipedia taxon pages, to help people identify plants.
iNaturalist automatically points at Wikipedia taxon pages when possible. In iNaturalist forum https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/add-captions-to-default-taxon-photos/2126 we've been discussing the possibility of adding illustrated ID tips to Wikipedia articles that would help both iNautralist and Wikipedia readers easily understand significant features of a plant.
I'm a new author for Wikipedia, though an experienced site administrator for PlantID.net. I plan to try making some simple additions to existing articles to experiment with useful ways I can add illustrated ID tips to plant pages.
