Brendan lee Saxby born in Newcastle on the 3rd April 2002 is a professional Rugby League player who currently plays for Lakes United in under 16s division 1. He also played for Valentine eleebana junior rugby league football club. He has also represented his primary school [Biddabah public school] and high school [St Marys catholic college Gateshead]. He can play in a variety of positions from wing, fullback, centre and halfback/five-eighth but mainly plays on the wing. He has been the leading try scorer for the past 4 years with an average of 15 tries a season. In 2017 during the season playing on the wing he suffered a year ending leg injury putting him out for the final half of the season.

Brendan has won 2 premierships both with Valentine devils.

Brendan has a a uncle who played in the NRL [Gary Freeman] and a cousin who plays in the Queensland intrust super league for the Townsville Blackhawakes.
