Kernside Skatepark is a skatepark located in Bakersfield, California, United States. Located on the east side of town near Hart Park, the skatepark was built by the skateboarding community. Construction began in January of 2011. The address is on the corner of Valley Ln and Eagles View St, Bakersfield, CA 93306.

Features edit

The park is constructed mostly of concrete. It is geared towards vert skateboarding. Two sides of the park are completely covered with quarter-pipes. A corner of the park has a small corner quarter-pipe with a sharp concave. It is mainly used to transition and gain speed. There are three spines that vary in size from small to large. A few obstacles are geared towards “street” skateboarding, such as a ledge, pole jam, and several banks.
