Rhonda Kay Bennett (American, Oklahoma native. Film Director, Producer, Talk Show Host, Allied Health/Medical/Nursing Adjunct Instructor, Healthcare professional Medical Assistant, Graduate Nurse).
Rhonda Kay Bennett aka RhondaK, BossDiva, RhondaK was born as Rhonda Kay Donley of Tulsa, Oklahoma, the third sibling of six and the oldest daughter of three biological sisters. Her parents were devout Christians both pastoring churches in the north Tulsa area in the early 1970’s. Taught early as a child she would pursue her college education as a Registered Nurse she began her career in healthcare as a Medical Assistant before completing as a Registered Nurse.
She’s a self taught bilingual (English and Spanish) professional having a desired niche in the Latin community to deliver education and began teaching Allied Health in her own state authorized educational institutions where 90% of her student body were Latino(a). In the mid 1990’s she pursue teaching all aspects of Allied Health and further in core program nursing and realized she passionately desired to immerse herself into the film, television, music and media industry.
In early 2000 she began hosting her own radio show, then titled Jen N Cognac Mixer. She later changed the talkshow name to EndlessVoicez. Thereafter she produced a reality show trailer titled “Whistle Lips & Smack” followed by “Atl BossDivaz Latinaz” and then began writing, directing and producing feature films. In 2016 her union full feature titled “287G Black Latina” gained recognition in the Latin community due to the challenges that faced the nation in the allegations of racial profiling along with the differences the USA and Mexico continued to have. In 2019 she again wrote, directed and produced another full feature film titled “SINthetic” about the nationally recognized sinister crimes in human trafficking.
RhondaK birthed four sons whom all became artist on either music or television. She managed the music schedules for her first three sons (Sean, Dylan & Bralen) and was the life coach and Manager for her youngest sons, Evan Kyle Bennett acting career. In 2019 she and husband William Bryan Bennett welcomes their first girl under different conditions which brought an overwhelming amount of love and renewed parenting into their lives and home.
She and husband William Bryan Bennett plan to open her licensed Nurse program in Florida in 2020 and directing three more full feature films in 2020.
