David Jackson (BayRadioDJ) is the executive director and founder of the Bay Area Radio Museum & Hall of Fame, a project of the California Historical Radio Society, and a member of the board of directors of the Bay Area Radio Museum, Broadcast Legends (www.broadcastlegends.com) and the California Historical Radio Society (www.californiahistoricalradio.com).
He was the recipient of the 2007 Charles David Herrold Award for significant achievement in preserving the history of radio broadcasting, and was honored as 2009 Legend of the Year by the Broadcast Legends. He was named a fellow in broadcasting history by the California Historical Radio Society in 2011.
