I, Barefootmatt, am an alumnus of Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology. Understandably, my expertise is in physiology and neuroscience. I also have a number of other interests, and will occasionally contribute to articles in subject areas outside of my educational focus (such as Canadian politics).

I am now employed in the field of environmental science, with a specific focus in contaminated sites. While my degree does not directly relate to contaminated sites, I have a fair amount of relevant experience that has made me competent in this field.
