Apala basically hails from (nanital) uttarakhand but has been brought up in bhopal (M. P).
She is a B. E(Bachelor of Engg )graduate in Computer Science. She is been doing theatre along with her studies. and after completing her studies she also has been appointed as a lecturer in an Engginnering college VAISHNAVI INSTITUE OF TECH. in Bhopal. She also has worked as an software engg in various multinationals like WIPRO.
she has also done her theatrics education from Anupam kher's actors prepare. she has done various TV serials including[1]

Apart from being an Enggineer and Actor, she also is a dieticien. Her mother ,dr Anita Bisht ,is a renowned naturopath and nutritionist. Apala has always been inclined towards her mother's sense of spreading health conciousness and good lifestyle. she also has done a degree in dietetics and nutrition and also been guiding client regarding diet, weight issues and healthy lifestyle along with her mother.
