I'm not really new anymore but still consider myself a novice. I contribute when I have time and try not to do anything stupid. edit
My motivation for this is better writing on Wikipedia – grammar for clarity. I have done some professional translating from German to English and am living in Germany learning about the country and language.
My main interests run to history and sailing. Most of my edits have come about when I'm reading a article to learn about something and stumble across an entry that is poorly stated, confusing, misleading or just wrong. --Another-sailor (talk) 22:14, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
