I am Master of Laws graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of University of Warsaw and PhD candidate at the Doctoral School at the Graduate School for Social Research of the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. I mainly work on applying sociological perspectives on climate change mitigation policies and sustainability transitions. In particular, I am interested in social practice theory, multi-level perspective, behavioural insights, and post-growth. My master thesis is entitled „Transitional legal approach as a way of bringing sustainability transitions into action on the examples of the social practice theory and regulations oriented at climate crisis mitigation” and proposes methodology on translating practice theory-informed recommendations intro legal regulations and formal norms targeted at tacking climate crisis. The PhD project, entitled “Implications of the post-growth for dynamics of daily social practices and law-making in climate policies”, is to a large extent a continuation of this research direction.
